Graphic Arts

The graphic arts industry is one of the principal generators of paper waste. To ensure that this waste does not affect production processes and can later be recycled, it is crucial to avoid its accumulation and properly sort it by grade.
The waste generated in graphic arts processes (composition cuttings, print rejects, material on damaged spools or sheets) is pre-consumer waste, making it very valuable. Since it has never entered the market, it can be recycled more efficiently, thus making it possible to manufacture new, high-quality materials.
After studying the customer’s needs in detail, Reciclajes Merida designs the best strategy for recycling as much of the waste as possible and provides the most appropriate means of collection: portable devices (wheeled cages, tubs) if the waste is low volume or the space is confined, or automatic, centralised resources (suction lines, high-capacity compaction equipment) for large volume waste and plants in continuous operation.
